Xie Wendi

Xie Wendi (b.1989) now lives and works in Shenzhen and Dongguan, China. Wendi’s practices mainly include sculpture, imagery, site-specific installations utilizing glass and mixed media. She is interested in exploring the relationships among things. She “creates things” through methods such as handicrafts, mechanical production, and the transformation of ready-mades, making combinations that are both logical and unexpected.
